四、研討會目的:
世新大學英語暨傳播應用跨校研討會,為一校際會議,旨在促進英語文學和語言學的理論和實踐,著眼於相關的媒體和傳播趨勢與學術探討。本系舉辦此跨校研討會的外延宗旨,則是期待創建跨學科學者之間討論、互動和合作的平台,裨益即時整合當前的英語研究、傳播研究和多媒體實踐,以期在嶄新的傳媒視角中,梳理新的學術可能性。
五、研討會議主題及內容:
主題一:新聞語言或其他媒體語言與文化研究
主題二:媒體平台中的文學改編
主題三:社會文化背景下的比較英語研究
主題四:語言保護的社會文化議題
主題五:新媒體時代的文學及呈現
主題六:網紅語言教學頻道 vs. 傳統語言教學
主題七:文學及語言傳媒的理論辯證
六、論文投稿須知:
1.本研討會採公開徵稿方式,投稿時請註明投稿主題。投稿方式、截止日期與審查公告日期說明如下:
(1)論文摘要投稿:摘要投稿以2,000字為限,並於2022年4月8日(五)前,將資料寄至dteng@mail.shu.edu.tw
(2) 專題論壇:由籌組人撰寫主題、籌組說明以及各篇摘要,合併為同一個檔案投稿,並請註明各子題之發表人姓名、服務單位、職稱、聯絡電話、e-mail等資訊,全部以800字-1000字左右為宜,並於2022年4月8日(五)前,將資料寄至dteng@mail.shu.edu.tw。
(4) 審查結果公告:由主辦單位審查後2022年4月18日(一)於本系網頁公佈錄取名單,並以電子郵件方式通知。
(5) 論文全文繳件:通過摘要審查者之論文全文,最後繳交日期為2022年4月30日(六);論文全文總字數以15,000字(包含摘要、本文、圖表、註釋參考書目)為限。全文電子檔請將資料寄至dteng@mail.shu.edu.tw。
- 稿件均由學界委員進行匿名審查。會議發表形式分為「口頭發表」
- 摘要與全文格式內容請採用「APA」、「MLA」書寫
- 除封面外,摘要及全文請勿出現作者等相關資訊。
七、其他說明注意事項:
- 主辦單位擁有刊載論文內容於主辦單位相關之印刷品、網頁或光碟之權利,刊載時將依學術論文慣例註明作者與出處。
- 論文中凡涉及版權部分,請事先取得原著者或出版社書面同意。本活動主辦單位不負版權責任。

Call for Papers: Intercollegiate Conference of English Literary and Linguistic Media and Communication (ICELLMC)

The Intercollegiate Conference of English Literary and Linguistic Media and Communication is a peer-reviewed intercollegiate conference dedicated to theory and practice of English literature and linguistics in light of new trends of media and communication. It aims to integrate English studies, communication studies, and multimedia practice of the time through creating a platform for discussion, interaction, and collaboration between and among interdisciplinary scholars, in hope of teasing out academic possibilities in cutting-edge perspectives.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Journalism and alternate media languages in linguistic and cultural studies
- Literary adaptation on media platforms
- Comparative English studies in socio-cultural contexts
- Language conservation as a socio-cultural issue
- Literature and its presentation in times of new media
- On-line language Youtube channels vs. Academic language training
- Theoretic dialectics on literary and linguistic media
Proposals for papers in English or Mandarin Chinese are accepted. Proposals for panels are also welcome. Please email proposals as MS Word (.docx) attachments before April 8, 2022. Proposals should be accompanied by an abstract (2000 words) and a separate cover sheet including the presenter’s education and employment history, current institutional affiliation, brief list of representative works, and email address (800-1000 words). Please avoid reference to personal information in your abstract in order to facilitate our blind review.
